Nintendo Forums

Due to other websites providing alternative forums and 'security issues' in the past Nintendo of Europe have decided to completely close the community forums on their official site.

Apparently they think that "visitors to our website would be best served if we focused all our energies on putting together a new Nintendo-Europe.com that will offer Club Nintendo members a number of new features for an expanded experience with our products". This is true but being as they haven't changed the site in the slightest in the 5 or so years since it came online (not even a redesign of the colour scheme when the Wii was released) I doubt that they'll actually do anything.

The forums were always full of trolling fanboys talking crap anyway so I don't think this news will bother too many people.

Our forums, of course, remain open so why not join up and get posting.
