NoE site live (sort of)

As we thought may be the case, the Nintendo of Europe site has been relaunched today. It came online sometime between 9 and 10 o'clock this morning but has obviously been experiencing some teething problems as it has been repeatedly offline all day.

The design is a big improvement on the old site but I wont go too much into that as you can see for yourselves.

The big news is the stars catalogue, it has been improved with new additions including Mario Kart figures, Club Nintendo cap/tshirts and even a Twilight Princess statue for those that have managed to save up 15000 stars. At the time of writing this a few items have sold out and it is unclear when (and indeed if) they will be restocked in the future. The addition that everyone has been waiting for is the stars to wii points conversion and now thanks to the wii points shop you can now do this (although I personally have been unable to access the wii points shop as yet to confirm the conversion rates.)

It looks like NoE are finally getting their act together with the website, lets hope they make an effort to get games releasd over here a bit quicker too.
