Bring on the Brawl

"31st January, 2008. Super Smash Bros. Brawl has officially gone on sale in Japan. Is everybody having fun with it?"

This is the message that greets us on Smash Bros Dojo this morning. Though this may be great for the Japanese it does nothing but rub salt in the proverbial wounds of us Europeans.

So, today is the Japanese release, America has the release pencilled in for 9th March so when can we expect to get our hands on it? Well, the painful truth for us is that really that's anyone's guess.

With games needing to be translated into a multitude of languages over the years gamers in PAL terratories have grown acustomed to having to wait months if not years for games to become available to us.

Unfortunatly, this isn't any different with Brawl but with the game being probably the most anticipated of all Wii titles it would have been nice of Nintendo to try and hurry it up a bit. The lack of a tentative release date is especially annoying as for all we know we could be waiting the rest of the year.
